lol that’s what I was thinking but I heard this range was ideal. I was skeptical so I literally copy and pasted 3-4 of your chapters along with those from several others into scrivener and all of them were 1500-2500. It must be the sweet spot!
I wouldn’t use mine as a standard by any means lol, but that’s nice to hear it compared to others. I guess an average chapter length is all ingrained into us somehow lol

The great thing about substack is that word length doesn’t matter for a serial! Screw publishing norms, give us however many words you want
